For example: Thermal conductive pastes containing ceramic to metallic fillers. They are needed, among other things, in the manufacture of batteries in e-mobility. A rotor made of solid ceramics meets the requirements for ensuring long service lives even when highly abrasive materials are used. It offers the necessary high hardness and wear resistance, but is less resistant to impacts and shocks.<\/p>\n<p>This is where a more robust rotor consisting of a metal matrix composite can help: The carbide rotor exhibits extreme hardness and is thus particularly wear-resistant. This leads to a longer service life and reduces maintenance requirements. In addition, the high wear resistance enables precise metering over a longer period of time without compromising accuracy.
